'Cowl’s day quickly descended into chaos. A spilled potion on his workbench and the Merchant's Guild insisting he pay "safety fees" for running a (mostly) legal business out of his caravan. By midday, a client refused to pay, claiming his charm against nightmares had caused them instead. By evening, a burned sleeve, shoes full of mud from the streets paved with broken cobblestone, and pockets that were lighter by three coins and one last nerve.'
Or...
Cowl is a superstitious man. Rightfully so, he figures, after today.
This is a recollection of Cowl's bad day, saved only by the comfort of his darling Beau. -

All of the kids at Camp Cretaceous are very clearly traumatized, but Ben Pincus was left to fend for himself for who knows how long, and it didn't do him a shred of good. His friends are concerned, but all he's doing is distancing himself. The only one able to get remotely close is Kenji.

Remus Lupin has always hated making others worry, so it comes as no surprise that he's the exact type of person to hide every illness and injury he gets. James, Peter, and Sirius know better, but of course they still put far too much faith in Remus and end up having to drag him out of whatever pit he's fallen into. This is one of those times.
In other words, Remus gets sick and, even as unpleasant as it is, tries to hide it. The boys worry about him enough anyways.

Remus Lupin loves his boyfriend, but finds himself longing for something that Sirius can't exactly give him, but something that he can't have without Sirius either. Sirius notices and questions him about it. Things do not go as planned.

Sirius and Marlene decide to give Remus a makeover. Unfortunately, Remus makes it a lot more difficult than it needs to be. Recruiting Lily doesn't seem to help much either, but Sirius is determined to see what his boyfriend would look like if he actually did his hair and didn't dress like an eighty year old librarian.
Or alternatively: Sirius and Marlene want to play dress up but Remus refuses to wear anything that isn't jumpers and khakis and behaves like a child as a result.
