Himeko’s smile immediately dropped as she said that. She, however, only stared at the other woman blankly.
“If you want to know why, it’s because I will be gone from here right after graduation.” She continued.
It seemed as though the other woman wanted to speak, though she quickly pursed her lips afterwards.
“W- well I guess that’s fair.” She let out, shyly looking away for a second before turning back to her. “But anyways, forget about that. Have you thought about what you wanted to do, Kafka?”
In which the past comes to claw at Kafka. For better or worse.
