I am terribly sorry to have entered your territory," the startled man said as he began to drift backwards. This human was certainly one of the more intelligent ones as he knew to never turn his back on a predator. "You're quite the extraordinary and formidable being, aren't you?"
Oh? Who knew a human could have such taste…
Astarion eased only slightly at the compliments. "Extraordinary and formidable? Anything in particular catch your interest?" he replied back in a playful, haughty tone before he twirled around horizontally in the water to display his form. "Perhaps my magnificent tail fins or stripes are to your liking?"
Astarion is a lonely merman in the vast deep who stumbles upon a human who is somehow much further down than he should be. Despite his wariness of humans, his curiosity has him follow the verbose Professor Gale who teaches him more about the world above. Navigating a budding friendship can be a challenge when your new friend is so intriguing though.

Gale gulps and blushes slightly as Astarion saunters over to him.
Astarion is wearing a royal blue turtleneck that clings to his torso with a cropped leather jacket and a pair of sleek black leather chelsea boots over form fitting black jeans.
“Good evening, darling,” he says with a smirk, and he looks like he should be at a nice dinner date instead of a corn maze in that outfit. Dapper as usual. But perhaps Gale is a bit biased. He has had a crush on the man for three years now.
Gale goes to a corn maze with his friends and has to deal with his crush in very close proximity.
