La primera vez que Jiang Cheng conoció a Wei Wuxian a la edad de diez años, terminó enamorándose perdidamente de él.
Sabía que era un amor imposible, Wei Wuxian era un adulto y él, tan solo un niño, por lo tanto, Jiang Cheng se había esforzado por esconder durante tantos años, el enamoramiento que tenía por el mejor amigo de su padre en lo más profundo de su corazón.
Sin embargo, en el primer día de clases, Jiang Cheng inesperadamente se rencuentra con el viejo amigo de su padre a quién no había visto durante tantos años y quién además, sorpresivamente también trabaja como profesor en la misma universidad a la que asiste.
Bueno, Jiang Cheng sería un tonto si no intenta seducir al profesor Wei Wuxian en esta nueva oportunidad que la vida le está dando.

Wei Wuxian, un padre amoroso y un perfecto esposo ante los ojos de la sociedad, en realidad lleva una doble vida.
E inclusive podría estar relacionado con todos esos asesinatos que han estado extrañamente ocurriendo en la Ciudad de Shanghái.

Para este punto, Wei Wuxian ya se encontraba acostumbrado a sentir repentinamente un gran deseo sexual emergiendo de su interior; después de tantos años incluso sabía los días exactos en que sucedería. Ser un íncubo no era fácil.
No se sentía bien asaltar las camas de las personas, con igual deseo sexual que él para satisfacer la suya. Pero si el mundo decidió que ese sería si papel, no podía hacer nada para cambiarlo, en su lugar, sólo podía sobrellevarlo en secreto.
Acostarse con personas que algunas veces conocía era algo que realmente lo perturbaba, haciéndolo sentir culpable; pero no podía contra el deseo. Estaba bien mientras pudiera ignorarlo, pero era realmente difícil cuando no esperaba ser llamado por el deseo sexual de quien todos consideraban su peor enemigo, Jin Zixuan.
Sobre todo cuando éste llamaba su nombre entre su sueño húmedo.

Though now lost to history, it was recorded in that place that it had begun with a powerful dragon-lord named Jiang Chi, and the settling of a small compound by the lakeside, because dragons were of the water, and never wished to be too far from it.
Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian had grown up together, inseparable, until Wei Wuxian had donned his pelt and returned to the rivers.
He had promised to return, one day, but Jiang Cheng, knowing there was no precedent of any dragon ever coming back, had assumed it would be the last he ever saw of him.
The thing about precedents, is there always has to be a first, of course.

When he was young, Jiang Cheng dreamt about so much things. He thought he couldn't get them, but his sister promised him he would get to be anything he wanted, even feeling like a princess in the story she would read to him. But life made his sister a liar.
Now stuck in duty after wasting years of his life trying to keep it together when the world just made him feel like he would never be anything he wanted to be. He didn't feel like he was living, just here on a duty he felt like he had to keep in fear of disapointing ghosts.
