Summary
In an alternate timeline of One Piece, Ace and Sabo are ten years older than Luffy.
They meet Luffy when he is just five years old—a loud, stubborn child who clings to them with absolute trust. For one brief year, the three brothers share something close to peace… until Sabo’s “death” shatters it.
Ace leaves Dawn Island at 17, just like in the original timeline, chasing freedom and carving his name into the sea.
But five months later, everything changes.
A Tenryuubito returns to Dawn Island.
And this time, Luffy is taken.

Summary
After achieving his dream of becoming King of the Pirates, Luffy is sent to an alternate world where he died at Marineford in place of Ace—and nothing ever recovered.
In this broken reality, the Whitebeard Pirates are consumed by war, the Marines are unstable, and the Straw Hats have fallen apart under the weight of their grief. Ace, haunted by Luffy’s sacrifice, is unable to move forward, while the entire world remains trapped in the aftermath of a loss it never healed from.
Refusing to accept this, Luffy sets out to fix what his death left behind. Not through strength alone, but by confronting those he loves, rebuilding their bonds, and reminding them of the freedom they once fought for.

Luffy, who'd been distracted by the frosting, glanced between the adults and reached for someone's juice glass (no one protested). Then he declared, firm:
"We'll only agree if there are rules."
Shanks barked out a laugh. Benn blinked, surprised.
"Rules?"
Sabo was already pulling a napkin and pen from his backpack.
"Item one: No ditching us after. No orphanages. No vanishing in the middle of the night."
"Item two," Ace added, chin jutting out, "we get our own space. And decent food."
"Item three!" Luffy yelled. "Cake every Sunday."Shanks raised his eyebrows, theatrical.
"Ambitious."
"And item four," Sabo said, crossing his arms, "if anyone tries to take us away, you have to fight for us. Even if we're a handful."
Silence. The air grew heavier—the kind of quiet where everything is decided before the answer is even spoken. Benn leaned back, the boy's words turning in his mind. He let out a short exhale, almost a laugh.
Or: A laid-back comedy inspired by the vibe of Spy x Family, where a mobster, an assassin, and three little con artists improvise a chaotic family. Don’t take it too seriously — this is pure, concentrated nonsense!

Chopper gapes wordlessly. All the rest of Nami’s nakama have a similar expression on their faces, something between stupefied and offended—save Robin, who presses a secret smile behind her hand, and Jimbei, whose rumbling chuckle is just barely audible over the sound of the sea.
Nami—who knows very well what Zoro looks like when he’s trying to get a rise out of someone, who knows very well that she has a claim on Luffy that only a handful of other people in the world share, one that can never be broken or stolen or changed—feels herself bristle, too.
“HE IS OUR OWN!” the majority of one of the most infamous pirate crews in the New World shriek like schoolchildren.

Life isn’t full of such idyllic love, not for an hedgehog as misfortunate as Shadow and especially not where Sonic the Hedgehog is involved.
