Suirei made a tiny, non-committal noise. “The extent of my knowledge of the west is limited,” she said. “I’ve been studying the language, thanks to the copy of the dictionary in Ah Duo-sama’s library, but as much as I’m a quick study, reading is only half the portion of the language.” She made a face. “It’s impressive how many words they can make with only a limited amount of characters.”
Maomao hid a grin at Suirei’s face. “I take it you’re not one to like studying languages, then,” she said.

Summary
Everyone thought that when Naraku was defeated, that the adventure was over, that the well would stop working— that Inuyasha and Kagome would finally be able to fall in love and marry. We believed that everyone would finally get an end, a happily ever after, one way or another after so much hardship and loss.
They were wrong. So blindly, stupidly wrong— for Kagome, it was only the start of a larger journey, and an even higher purpose. The likes of which she would never have believed to be possible.
