Summary
“Why are you so fucking edgy?” Spooky asked, an annoyed tone in his voice. Blurry rolled his eyes again, turning back to the sink and using his hand to smack the faucet upward. Water rushed out. “Are you washing your hands?”
Before anything could register, Blurry turned back around, lunged forward, and Spooky’s face was met with a splash. He yelped, too late to shield himself with his hands before ducking and rubbing at his eyes.
Water dripped down his cheeks and onto his shirt. Some of the water fell to the floor. He looked up to the paper towel dispensers. Empty. The dryers against the wall had pieces of bright pink paper that said "OUT OF ORDER" taped across them.
Blurry was smiling, flicking him off as he left the bathroom. “You said passive!”

Summary
Somehow, Tony Stark was able to wield all six Infinity Stones and come back still breathing. It shocks everyone, but the world moves on, restoring itself back to where everyone once was. But this time, however, it's without Iron Man there. It's no shock Tony retired; he has a family to take care of, including an overwhelmed Peter Parker, who's trying to figure out his (and Spider-Man's) place in the world, and whether or not he's ready to start saving it on the daily. As if he doesn't already have too much on his plate (such as but not limited to: his concerned aunt, a new role as an Avenger, his friends concerned about his mental state, a little five-year-old girl excited about her so-called brother's return, his mentor he has yet to internally accept as a true father figure, and the world's pressure on Spider-Man that he's probably over exaggerating), Tony drops a seventeen-year-old boy right at his feet. A cute, charming boy that Peter can't quite understand.
They get along. Peter starts caring, more than he realizes, and finds safety in Harley Keener.
Nobody's gonna take that away from him.
(But they'll try.)

Summary
Blurryface took a minute to close his eyes, trying to maintain some sort of sanity. The AC vents were louder than ever, and there was still screaming and music outside, and the trailer was still hot.
He wasn’t going to be able to take off his shirt.
“I’m not going to be able to take off my fucking shirt,” Blurry grumbled, walking over and taking a seat on the sofa in defeat. “I can’t fucking take it off. 90 degrees outside and I won’t be able to take off my shirt because of what you did, and I’m gonna die of a fucking heatstroke.”
“It’s a light shirt.”

Summary
He heard footsteps in the grass, still a bit far away but approaching. He wished he could turn his senses off. Peter wasn't ready to talk to adults just yet, he didn't feel the need. He was just a kid. He didn't want to. He didn't bother to look up when the steps reached him.
Peter wasn't expecting the small hand touching his shoulder in place of where a bigger, stronger one would be instead.
(in the midst of his sadness, peter meets morgan stark at tony's funeral)

Summary
“Uh, my date—my date is, uh.” Tyler stutters, feeling his cheeks flush. “Can’t it be a surprise?”
“Absolutely not.” His mom eyes him like a hawk, waiting for him to make the wrong move and it doesn't help that Tyler’s brain just keeps shouting abort mission!
“Spill, Tyler.” Maddy leans forward, her elbows resting on the table.
“Josh,” Tyler blurts out, his eyes widening as soon as it's out of his mouth. “Josh is my date to the wedding. Are you happy now?”

Who is he, anyway, to be let into this lab? He’s very obviously not security, what with his baseball bat lying sadly on the floor. Did he know Mr Stark?
His striking blue eyes narrow at Peter.
