“Aww!” Nam-gyu smiled and held Myung-gi’s shoulder, which was suddenly burning up. “It’s ok, if some little blue vest comes along and wants to kill us, we can hold hands as we die. How about that?”
Myung-gi’s eyes narrowed, but he didn’t shrug the hand off. Not right away. Nam-gyu’s palm was light, fingers just barely curling over the slope of his shoulder like they belonged there. It wasn’t affection—not really. It was pressure, or perhaps a question waiting to be answered without words.
Myung-gi finally pulled away, sharp and minimal. Not rough, just deliberate, before turning slightly, shoulder brushing the wall behind him. The air between them didn’t get any cooler.
“Touch me again and I’ll bite your fingers off,” he said flatly.
Nam-gyu grinned like that was the most romantic thing he’d ever heard.
