Summary
One of his lawyers tried to call him when he first got to LA to go over some terms and conditions of an agreement he was to sign. He had a sinking feeling it was the agreement, the one with the carefully constructed narrative he was under no circumstances to undermine in the next five years. Well, that’s easy. He hung up the phone– cutting the lawyer off mid-sentence– clicked to add his e-signature, and sent the contract back over as a new PDF. Pretty impossible to publicly say anything mean about Gerri when he couldn’t even think about Gerri without wanting to rip his hair out then pull his fingernails off.
To his continuous, utter dismay, that did not at all stop him from thinking about her.
