Her ears are what catch Izumi’s eye. They sparkle in the low light of the bar, studded with earrings— there’s several rings and studs that make their way up the shell of her ear, framed by locks of brightly colored hair. Izumi feels hypnotized, the noise of the bar becoming merely a whisper in her ears as she watches the woman speak animatedly with the individual next to her, her hands moving with every sentence. Izumi can’t make out what she’s talking about, but inexplicably, she can’t tear her eyes away.
