The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

hello?! superpower x civilian, one of my favorite tropes ever (idc if it’s superhero or supervillain, great trope)!! literally binge read the entire thing in a day. so so well written, got chills during some chapters, and shed real tears in others. i love the portrayals of each and every character (support everyone’s rights and wrongs lmao) i love the bamboozlers and grian. i genuinely love the emotional rollercoaster this fic has given me, and i’m looking forward to what i know will be an amazing finale for this amazing story <3 (take your time, there’s no rush!!)

i know absolutely nothing about f1 but this fic has got me hooked (might go check it out) but anyways!! loved this. absolutely loved this, it’s so so so good!! i love the relationship between all the characters, especially the main racers!! literally so well written, it got me in the feels and i genuinely shed tears. scar and grian, man the emotional rollercoaster they took was so so worth, they’re deserve to be cute and lovey and healing!! ahh i loved this so so much <3

When Toya opened his eyes, he wasn’t expecting to be greeted with a window that faced an absolute galaxy of a sky. He also wasn’t expecting for his friends to be playing instruments, either. Don’t they usually just sing with instrumentals in the background?
Similarly, when An blinked, she didn’t think she’d be on a stage facing a large crowd holding lightsticks. She knew the stage well, in fact she was very used to being on one, but what she wasn’t used to was the peppy idol-like music playing in the background. That wasn’t very common in a live house… And why were she and her friends wearing idol outfits?
As Kohane rubbed her eyes, she certainly wasn’t anticipating what was essentially the most outworldly theme park she’d ever been to. Hadn’t she fallen asleep with her friends at An’s place? Why was there a literal train in the air?
Akito was certainly confused, and honestly a little concerned when he woke up in what was basically an endless void. And why did his friends look so alright with it? And was that supposed to be Miku?
Or, Vivid BAD SQUAD dreams together, but not quite together.

this was so cute and heartwarming!! i loved the different depictions of vbs. the sekai swap trope was amazing—especially with how each member had some sort of connection to the sekai ver. of themselves they swapped with (e.g. toya and saki, an and haruka, kohane and wxs, akito and ena). such a good read, and the bit at the end of the sekai ver. of vbs returning was just so cute and funny <3
