Summary
You've always been obsessed with superheroes, ever since you were a little kid.
You moved to Gotham all alone with stars in your eyes for undergrad before the cold reality of city-living set in. The streets were mean and people weren't as kind as they were back home. It was hard to make friends and you preferred to stay inside, making you even lonelier. You were a regular fish out of water, not a lot of close friends or family, living all alone--the perfect target for someone with not-so-nice intentions.
They always said not to meet your heroes because they could never live up to your expectations. Or sometimes, they weren't a hero at all.
