Summary
Raphael was, by all definitions, a devil of a man. Some would even call you mistaken to refer to him as just a man. Throughout the city of Baldur's Gate, and most of Faerun, his name inspired envy, fear, and intrigue; the kind of mystique that was equally dangerous and alluring. To most, he was Raphael Cania, investment banker, owner of the most illustrious estate in Baldur's Gate; polished and charming to a fault, his extravagant parties and galas were the events of the year. His father had chosen him to be the heir to Mephisto Financial, though there wasn't much Raphael didn't already control. He had a way with words that lured more poor souls into his debt than even the gods could count.
But to many, he was known simply as "The Devil": the man that gave just to take back what was his, and so much more.

When Tav and her companions learn that Karlach is indepted to none other than "The Devil," Tav does everything in her power to free her from his claws for good. Little does she know that she's in for much more than she bargained for...
