Summary
"If Angel didn’t know any better, he’d say Alastor looks even more unhinged than normal right now. Which is stupid, obviously, because Alastor has ‘never felt better’, as he likes to keep reminding them all, despite nearly dying to Adam’s holy bullshit just a few weeks ago. There’s just… something manically heightened in his eyes. Something weird in what Angel thinks is the lightest sheen of sweat on his brow, the tiny tightening of his lips as he grins that eerie grin, the way he doesn’t quite make eye-contact anymore. It’s the way his voice crackles with static, and the whine of it doesn’t totally disappear when he’s silent. Maybe it’s just his hard won expertise in reading the tiny changes of the body language of powerful, dangerous overlords for survival; but something’s definitely going on with the Radio Demon."
Or, Alastor gets drugged with an extremely powerful fuck-or-be-stuck-horny-forever love potion and reluctantly turns to Angel for help.
Or, Blake Roman said he shipped Radiodust and I took that personally.

Summary
Alastor talked a big game about wanting to let Angel cut him open and hold his still-beating heart in his hands - and he was quite serious every time - but some things were just too much to ask. He would never have DREAMED of actually expecting Angel to go that far.
Nor would he have dreamed that Angel would ask him first.

Summary
Alastor wasn’t sent to Hell as a punishment for his actions on Earth. No, despite what he did his good deeds actually outweighed his bad. He’ll vehemently deny it if you question him on it, but he’s actually quite the Altruist. He used most of the money he made from being a famous Radio Host for charity work(though he claims that he did it for tax reasons, Mimzy and Husk, who both knew him when he was alive, will tell you otherwise), whenever he was at a club he would often step in to defend women from unwanted advances, and if he ever found anyone, man or woman, in a vulnerable state he would ensure that they made it home safely.
Most of all, he never intentionally hurt an innocent person unless they witnessed one of his murders. Speaking of those, he exclusively targeted rapists, abusers, and fellow killers(he says that it’s because nobody would miss them, but Husk says that it was because of their actions).
No, he wasn’t sent to hell as a punishment. Hell was his reward. After all, Alastor The Avenger, Patron-saint of Victims, is the punishment for those who truly deserve it.
