With a shout of joy, Keith bounds forward, his hand slipping from Shiro’s as he steps deeper into a drift. His face is wild, split apart by a grin when he turns to look at Shiro. “I’ve never seen snow before!”
“I know,” Shiro says. He can’t help the chuckle that leaves him when Keith stumbles over himself. The joy on Keith’s face makes him look like he’s still the same kid that Shiro had taken to the beach one summer. Nearly seventeen years old, Keith had only experienced sand scattered between yucca and desert grass for his entire life, but he had never seen it so blindingly brilliant as it was against the deep blue of the ocean. Back then, Keith’s hair had hardly curled around his ears, but now, after a year in deep space, it has grown long enough to rest in a thick, messy braid that is thrown over his shoulder, speckled by snow rather than seafoam and sunlight.

Summary
Mr. Takashi Shirogane is a perpetual bachelor; a handsome man of twenty-six years, he is well known throughout the entirety of Garrison county as someone who is dedicated wholly to his study of the stars. In lieu of attending balls or performances at the theatre, Mr. Shirogane is often to be found in the observatory of his estate looking up to the heavens, or tucked into a corner of his library, scouring the shelves of his extensive collection.
He does not intend to court any of the ladies of Garrison county–nor does he intend to court any of the gentlemen. Instead, he spends his time roaming the halls of Champion’s Park with a book in hand, and his face turned to the stars.

Sylvain and Felix have a friendly chat about life and death
“I could stay here forever,” Sylvain mutters sleepily, stifling a yawn behind his hand as he breaks the silence between them.
“At Garreg Mach?” Felix asks. Sylvain speaks often of how he misses his family home in Faerghus–Felix can’t imagine him making a permanent home in the south of Fódlan.
“No,” Sylvain snorts out an abrupt laugh, waving his hand towards the patches of blue which peek through the leaves overhead. “Right here. I think I could stay here in the sand until it swallows me whole and makes me a part of it—just spend an eternity under this tree.”
Felix frowns in frustration. “No, you couldn’t.”
