Nefer's eyes flicker open a fraction. The low light is more comfortable, but still, Lauma hears her wince.
"Do not push yourself."
Nefer groans and closes her eyes again. She leans forward, pushing her face into Lauma's shoulder. Her other hand taps around, up to Lauma's forearm, and Nefer sighs from the crooked embrace.
"I'm trying not to, but… having no control, laying here, doing nothing but ache and hear my stupid cat knock shit over all day…"
Lauma laughs and kisses the tip of Nefer's ear. "Stir crazy already?"
"Unfortunately," Nefer groans.
"Well, if you'd like to relax, I can help you with that. Would you like me to, my dear?"
