Summary
Max told Charles he didn’t have any plans for summer break and the he would probably lock himself up in his apartment in Monaco to get away from the world.
Charles couldn’t cope with the fact Max would lock himself up while he had the perfect destination to clear his head.
“Come with me to Italy” Charles blurted out.
“What?” Max asked sipping from his red bull. Charles panicked.
“Leave it, it’s a stupid idea” he said
"You and me? A road trip to Italy? And then 3 weeks just the 2 of us in 1 house?” max asked and Charles wanted to run. The way max said it out loud made it embarrassing he even asked it in the first place.
“When you say it like that, yes, but it sounds ridiculous, we’re not even that good friends, I’m sorry I suggested I just didn’t want you to spent the summer locked up in Monaco” Charles said “because I care about you as a friend of course” he added sounding really nervous.
“Charles, relax, I’m just playing around. Yes, we aren’t best friends but we are friends. I would love to join you on a road trip and a 3 week stay in Italy” Max said softly.
