FC Trostfeld's star forward Jean Kirschstein has liked Armin Arlert, tragically, since forever, and he has zero intentions of doing anything about it. He will suffer through the worst case of crush-itis that the Schiller Gymnasium has ever seen, graduate, sob his eyes out while wandering around Tijuana for a bit, then go to uni and never look back. His waterproof plan is derailed when, in the spring of Year 12, he finds himself drifting closer and closer into Armin’s orbit – if by closer, you mean going from sharing tattered paperbacks to taking Armin on late night rides and scream-sing along to his old CDs to showing Armin his favourite graffitied skate park to laughing at Armin’s expression as he tastes Tequila for the first time to tasting that later on his lips, when they’re back to making out in his car—Woah! Everything is drifting along splendidly; Jean cannot believe that this is his life, except he did not factor in, uh, hell's fury with green eyes.
