Ever since Buck started at the 118, Bobby’s had this talent for making him feel small and stupid. He rarely deploys it now. Buck does his very best not to give him reason to. But right now, Bobby’s giving him that look. So intensely that Buck already internally accepts his clear status as an ex-employee, cause of firing pissing all over his captain’s chair, and wonders where the nearest hole to curl up and die in is.
Because Buck should be running right now. Flat out sprinting to the nearest bathroom. But he’s not. He’s just sitting here. Uselessly.
“Not in my chair,” Bobby orders. Buck stands up like he’s a marionette, his strings controlled by Bobby’s words. “Corner.”
Buck's never had a disciplinary meeting end in a shower before, but after this one he might try to make it a regular occurrence.
