Summary
Ever the young and naive one, Peter whips his head around, waiting for someone to give him a clue as to who they could all be referring to.
“He’s talking about Tony, Peter,” Natasha eventually takes pity on him and explains, amusement bleeding into her voice. Peter must make a face at her, because she snorts, waving a hand in the air. “What? There’s no shame in his game, trust me. We’re just kidding around.”
“Don’t feel bad, kid, this is a running joke. He calls himself a ho-” Rhodey starts.
“Used to drive me crazy,” Pepper says with a sigh. Peter turns to look at her. “You know, when we were together. He could never commit to just being with me. He never took us very seriously, cause he always wanted to leave room...” she doesn’t finish, but she doesn’t need to.
Peter's face heats up. He can feel eyes on him, so he tries to laugh along, but there’s so many thoughts aggressively scratching at his brain.

Summary
Bucky's memories tend to come back to him in waves: a smell, a touch, a song.
Bucky still remembers the song he first danced to with Steve, in their apartment in the dark, in the dead of winter; when Steve was afraid to look into Bucky's eyes, when they held each other at 3am. When he held Steve, warm, hard in his hand; when Steve shuddered and Bucky held him and Steve moaned into his shoulder.
That was another lifetime. And yet, somehow, it feels the exact same.
