He won’t talk to us and I just… I think it’s best if you came and got him. I wish I could do something else but I really-” she was crying, great gasping sobs. Mac couldn’t imagine feeling any emotion other than noise in that moment, “I just don’t know what to do it’s-it’s- it’s real bad up here and I’m pretty sure you know him better than I do…”

    Dennis’ watch chirps. They both crack an eye open at the same time, Mac looking at the watch and Dennis looking at him. Mac’s brows are scrunched up like he’s thinking of something. Dennis doesn’t know why he feels caught.
