“We are launching a new PR initiative. It’s called Rivals to Romance.”
Pedri was sure he had misheard. Jude wished he had. But it seemed that their clubs and the league didn't care how much the two midfielders hated each other. The only things fans loved more than a Clasico was a fabricated PR stunt that made Pedri and Jude look less like enemies and more like... something else.
In football, clauses are meant to protect contracts, but this one might just ruin them both as the line between performance and reality gets dangerously blurry.

Pedri, a brilliant, introverted, and highly focused student majoring in Physics, expected to get assigned as sophomore year roommates with anyone in that university. Except for Gavi, an immensely talented football player with a questionable reputation, whose stupid face Pedri could not stare at for more than three seconds without wanting to puke. Their divergent personalities make it almost unbearable for them to live together, but something soothing grows inside them when they’re forced to coexist and know each other beyond the stereotypes.

Pedri has built his startup from scratch into an eight-figure enterprise. Now, the young hotshot CEO is suddenly confronted with an existential threat: a takeover offer from a private equity fund led by Jude Bellingham.
