“You’re not short,” Jungkook says loud enough for Hoseok to glance over and giggle.
“Louder! So they can all hear!” Yoongi presses.
Jungkook snorts, but takes it in stride. He hops on top a fake hill of grass and spreads his arms wide, like he’s going to take flight.
“Everyone!” He bellows, their friends turning to stare. Jimin whips out his phone, zooming in and out dramatically. “Min Yoongi is average height! He is not short!”

and yoongi sits. and he sits. and he hates that maybe jeongguk is a little right—that he’s only known love in the soul-eating, angry, it never worked out sort of way. and he’s been putting jeongguk in all of his love songs. and none of them have had a happy ending, because yoongi doesn’t know what that looks like anymore.

Jungkook looks uncharacteristically shifty, eyes jumping around the room but seeming to avoid Yoongi altogether. Yoongi is justifiably suspicious, eyes narrowing to slits, but he waits it out. Better to let him spit it out in his own time.
When he does, finally, spit it out, Yoongi’s finished his cup, but that doesn’t stop him from choking on his own spit. He stares at Jungkook, eyes watering and feeling like they’re bulging out of his sockets, spluttering. He hasn’t even stopped coughing yet when he manages to force out a, “Run that by me again?”
Jungkook’s flushed red, but he lifts his chin defiantly and does: “Have you given someone a blowjob before, hyung?”

"are you okay?" jungkook asks, tilting his head to the side. "you're not making any sense right now."
yoongi's expression goes from thoughtful to blank to mournful in a split second. he pouts his lips, lowers his brows and jungkook's heart decides it's a great time to inflate and scorch like hot air balloons.
"i'm not okay," yoongi answers. his fake sad eyes bore into jungkook's forcefully sad ones. "i promise."
suddenly, shutting yoongi up with a kiss doesn't seem like a bad idea.
