Summary
James Potter fell for Regulus (literally) in the Autumn of 1975. Two years later, in the midst of hopeless war, he is greeted with the announcement of his past lover’s death.
Regulus Black took a little longer to fall for James, but when he did, he fell just as hard (not as literally). But obligations ripped him apart from his true happiness and left him vengeful. He doesn’t know if he’ll ever get his James back, but he will get his retribution or die trying.

Summary
James Potter fell in love with Regulus Black when the latter caught him as he was falling in the middle of a quidditch match. To repay, James wanted to catch Regulus when 𝘩𝘦 fell. But trying to catch Regulus Black was a death sentence, for whoever tried would be dragged down with him. James learned that the hard way.
