but for minho, the last straw is hearing changbin say, "it must be nice to be an omega and have your alpha take care of you and just- not think about anything sometimes."
it comes out while the group is watching a cloying romance-heavy indie movie that no one but jeongin could have picked out (but they're all watching nonetheless). changbin slumps onto the armrest with a plaintive sigh before he pronounces those words, and then, fire spat on gasoline, he turns to an obviously fazed minho and adds: "why do i want that, hyung? sometimes i feel like i was born in the wrong body..."
"it's okay to want it."

“Should we brush your teeth and get back in bed, love?” Seungmin asks, dropping another kiss to Changbin’s hair. Changbin nods. “Your heat’s probably around the corner.”
Changbin hums, standing on shaky legs. Seungmin wraps himself around Changbin’s body, keeping his mate upright. He presses his lips to the bite mark on Changbin’s neck, a soft moan bouncing off of the tiled walls as Changbin’s eyelids flutter shut. They snap open again in panic, finding Seungmin’s gaze in the mirror.
“I should’ve had my heat last week.”
Seungmin has never been a typical alpha. It only makes sense that he'd marry an atypical omega to match. They work. They're madly in love. And then Changbin gets pregnant, and suddenly being out of the ordinary feels a little wrong.
