Summary
Diluc cannot help the way his hand curls into a fist, frustration pulling his shoulder and neck taut. It’s just that… some habits are hard to break, and some habits turn into scars that feel like they’ll never leave. Diluc’s tendency to keep the things closest to his heart in the shadows, to protect them from others, himself, and the future, is one such habit that he fears will stay with him.
Perhaps this is why Diluc yearns for the winter’s gentle musings to shake a rebirth within him awake, a new start with which he could fix his broken hearted mistakes and step forward, hand in hand with his lover, with the confidence that Ajax more than deserves from Diluc.

Dearest Stranger,
I’m sure this exchange comes as a surprise to you, as, truthfully, it is coming as a surprise to me as well. A medley of harsh truths, cherished connections, and unstoppable change have unfortunately been bearing heavily on my mind. Questions of simplicity have been used to challenge depths that I wasn’t aware I had not mastered. In my journey for this truth, I stumbled across evidence of your own curiosities, ones that I would like to think mirror my own.
So, in the spirit of launching my own last hopes, I hope you don’t mind me wielding the same questions towards you. How would you define a “fairytale”?

Summary
The Abyss responds immediately. Childe inhales sharply as he watches the crowd around him close in on the distance separating the guests of the ball from the supposed, celebrated host.
The red dims. And then, it begins to retract.
Childe cannot recall arriving at the Dawn Winery. In fact, even before that, he cannot recall what behooved him to leave his post in Liyue and travel to Mondstadt.
And, archons, he cannot, for the life of him, remember how he ended up kneeling on a single knee with an arm outstretched to an unamused Diluc Ragnvindr.
All he remembers is the fact that he moved.

Summary
From time to time, one of the IPC’s Ten Stonehearts, Aventurine of Stratagems finds himself thinking about a time from not too long ago, a time where if anyone were to ask him how things were going, he would have first responded with a smile and a laugh. And as the curious converser fell into the blank yet cheerful ruse, he would effortlessly misdirect and avoid the question altogether. For, at that specific time that was not too long ago, the most that Aventurine of Stratagems would have relented to a rather tiresome, prying interrogator would have been a simple lie.
“It’s fine.”
Sometimes, Aventurine of Stratagems would even go further and grace both the onlooker and himself with an even more bold-faced lie.
“I’m fine.”
Yet, in an unexpected turn of events, it seems that the present has finally separated from the past, leading to a drastic change where said Stratagem may be more willing to respond to such a question with the truth.
And that truth is anchored in the love of a certain academic who Aventurine has found himself waking up to day by day.
