‘How’s it looking?’
‘Bad. Possibly even worse than this morning.’ Hoseok leans further against the back of the sofa, peeking through the stiff, blue curtains and out into the blinding white of outside. He’s wearing a thick sweatshirt and has two blankets pulled tightly around his slim shoulders. They’ve typically been saving turning the heating on for around an hour before they go to bed, just to heat up the bedrooms a little; it’s one of the coldest winters on record, and heating bills are rocketing.

Summary
Over the world, the forest looms.
“And here you are,” Hoseok says. He rests his hand at the small of Yoongi’s back. Always touching. “And still alive.”
“Does that surprise you?”
Hoseok hums. It’s a nice hum; it fills the air, and even after he’s stopped humming it continues, a big bloody splotch filling the sky the same way the sunset is. “I think it does. You have lovely eyes.”
“Thank… you?”
And then Hoseok’s standing, pulling Yoongi up, his broad palms gripping Yoongi’s forearms, looping around his wrists. His antlers swing through the air, displacing sound and light, somehow the brightest things in the whole forest. “Let’s run.”

Yoongi is going through the motions of life, working on his brother's farm under the shade of the mysterious forest over the mountain. And then he meets some people, and then his radio starts speaking to him, and suddenly he's being courted by a gentle man in the woods, someone with a heart-shaped smile and auburn hair and antlers.
He doesn't mind, though.
It breaks the monotony.

Summary
Yoongi knows he’s cursed. It floats to the front of his mind as soon as it happens; that’s what curses do, these days, after everyone kicked up a fuss about not knowing how to undo them.
Cursed to be small, light as a feather - until one finds one’s true love.
It’s not even a very good curse. It doesn’t rhyme, but it does the job, he supposes.

Or, Yoongi is cursed and Hoseok is flustered and they're both very sappy. Holly's just glad to get more walks.
