Lan Jingyi, who had evidently had *enough*, simply narrowed his eyes and marched their whole group to the edge of the clearing where Jiang Cheng was still locked in a standoff with the older Lan disciple.
Once they had a good angle, he simply narrowed his eyes and pointed at the tall Lan.
This was the exact moment when he looked over at them, and Wei Ying swallowed.“Oh. OH!”
After he was able to do more than gape again, (which took a not inconsiderable amount of time) he quickly bustled over, shot the tall handsome man who was evidently his husband a charming smile, and took Jiang Cheng's arms into his hands.
“If you would please excuse us for a moment, I need a word with my Shidi. Very urgently.”
