Summary
After briefly dating Sawamura in high school but ending their relationship before university, Shimizu is in the process of learning to suppress her heartbreak. She retreats into a solitary adult lifestyle until a mutual friend, Sugawara, encourages his fellow volleyball club members to get together for a reunion dinner. Anxious about reconnecting with Sawamura and coming to terms with the way they last parted because she feels guilty for the way that she left things hanging in high school, Shimizu reluctantly agrees.
