Summary
Jean Gunnhildr, Acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, has always had her head on straight. Her path was paved for her since the day she was born into the Gunnhildr clan, famous for their strong lineage of vampire hunters. Never before have her thoughts wavered about doing right by the people of Mondstat, the city and land she had grown to love so much. With Fatui vampires inhabiting the Grand Goth Hotel, looking over new recruits, and keeping in communication with the other nations of Teyvat, to say she has her hands full is an understatement, and there's no room for error.
When she runs into the elusive, yet charming, Lisa Minci, a name she's only heard in passing, Jean's path shifts, throwing everything she's ever known into disarray. Faced with new knowledge about vampires, the workings of the Fatui, and what's really going on within the walls of Mondstat, the Dandelion Knight who seemed to know everything is suddenly forced to look through the world of Teyvat through a new lens, carved by no other than Lisa herself.

In the week before she was to ascend to the highest position in Mondstadt, and devote her life to protecting the freedom of its people, Jean Gunnhildr was forbidden from doing anything related with the Knights of Favonius. No patrols, no paperwork, nothing.
It was a period when the Grandmaster-to-be was expected to reflect on and feel the weight of the responsibilities about to be thrust upon them. A time for them to understand everything they must be for the betterment of the people.
Or; for the first time in Jean's life, she has nothing to do.

Summary
If she was selfish, Jean would tell her about the heavy burdens weighing on her shoulders and the doubts gnawing away at her, and the little annoyances that she needs to vent out with only a little bit of heat behind her words.
She would tell Lisa how breakfast with her rights all the wrongs in the world. That their tea breaks and city patrols together were the much-needed pause on the ever-rushing tide of time, and how she feels at home under the blankets Lisa sometimes placed on her shoulders whenever Jean fell asleep on top of her paperwork, deep in slumber until morning when eggs on toast and a freshly brewed cup of coffee would greet her like old friends.
And when she is done, Jean would listen to Lisa in return, soaking up all that she has to say like roses in sunlight.
