Summary
Taking care of the inhabitants of the rear palace is Maomao's unofficial job, and she'd be lying if she said she didn't enjoy it at least a bit.
Of course, Master Jinshi sort of counts as an inhabitant of the rear palace, given how much time he spends there. And it would be against Maomao's morals to leave a patient to suffer.
So, she will take care of him as needed, with a professional and detached air. It's her duty, after all.Of course, a physician can't always predict how a patient will respond to treatment.
