    Elayne felt her face immediately flare up. “Aviendha!”

    Birgitte laughed. “So, Rand had a good time last night, did he? You did have the bond masked for quite a while.”

    Elayne wanted to protest that it was none of Birgitte’s business, but what ended up coming out was, “So it’s true? Men do like…that?”
