She waited for the moment to come, for the dark to overtake her. When it would be too full to see or move, and she would have to feel her way forward, or stop and wait for morning. Just like she did in the living quarters, trying to draw by the lamp light until that final hour, when the power was shut off for the whole station, conserving energy. Then she would stand up with her eyes closed, feeling her way against the walls, and the doorways until she felt the curved lip to her door, and found her way to bed.
But the dark wasn't like that on the ground.
