”Let me get this straight,” Jason says, rubbing his eyes, “You’re telling me that we’re stranded forty minutes from the manor, trapped in the densest part of the city during rush hour, and all we have is an unmovable, totaled-to-absolute-shit car?”
“Hey, it’s not like I’m happy about it either—“
“Dick. Do you know what that means?”
Dick looks at him, his shoulders slumping as the reality of their situation threatens to cripple him. Jason looks back at him, mouth a thin line, his countenance emanating a similar aura of grim exhaustion.
“We’re going to have to take the bus.”
