Summary
Being a T-Doll technician in a PMC group is relatively easy. Do inventory, make sure the girls are in tip-top shape, shoot the occasional small ELID that sneaks in at night and get laughed at for your bad aim.
A somewhat comfortable life, that Emma is ready to ride out until the the end of her contract, when a Varjager assault throws everything in disarray and she finds herself in the back of a truck, together with robotic scraps and the last, barely functional member of her team.
But life in the Yellow Zone has a funny way of working things out, and the bandits themselves are wiped out by a group of independent Dolls, seeking both resources and to free any of their endangered sisters.
How will they take the presence of a human among the prisoners, when so many of them had already been betrayed by humanity in unimaginable ways? And with their help, will Emma finally be able to find what she’s been secretly searching for all these years?
