8 years after the LYLAT WARS, Corneria, the capital of THE LYLAT SYSTEM, gets a call for help from the planet Sauria as the planet begins to literally break apart.
Responding to the distress call, GENERAL PEPPER, leader of the Cornerian Military, commissions the legendary Mercenary team STAR FOX for the mission.
