after months of unease brewing throughout the zones and a few too-quiet weeks spent on low-risk supply runs, the fabulous four visit a junkyard full of scrap parts and old tech. there, each of them receive portions of a vision that, when combined and realized, takes them on a pilgrimage past even the outermost zones—into the wastelands and beyond.

Things were growing again on Mandalore.
It was the stuff of dreams; Axe had felt like he was dreaming, standing on a jagged, broken-bone edge of stone, looking down into a gash of green, grasses and a smattering of wildflowers. The only place he had ever seen vormur blooms in his life was on the embroidered edge of his dalyc’buir’s special kute, the one she would wear instead of her kama when guests were coming over. Such simple, domestic pleasantries lived in a world so late in Axe’s memory that it might as well have been a legend he was recalling, not his own childhood.
Axe Woves settles back on Mandalore.
