Summary

Namjoon’s comment fell on deaf ears as Jin practically ran out of the lecture hall.

Namjoon had no idea why Jin hated him so much. He always had something witty to say or something to hold over his head, but for some reason the man always sought Namjoon out whenever he could. If Jin didn't like him, then why was he always around?

He was also Seokjin's lover. There had been a silent agreement when they decided to end things between them once the burden of a growing, worldwide group was becoming of them. Despite it, they still worked perfectly well together. They still loved each other so deeply.
Seokjin never moved on, hoping for a day they'd somehow be able to get together again, a reckless dream really, he thinks as he notices the smile in Namjoon's eyes because of someone else. He finds himself in a dark abyss seeing a new man in Namjoon's life and then realising, he's the only one still dreaming this dream.

He already has men taking care of his charges, coming up with alibis for all the other things he was investigated for (if they would get even the slightest idea of what he had done during his years, he would never walk from this place), but as things are, he knows he’ll be a free man in a couple of months, tops.
With the icy look Seokjin’s giving him from the door, though, he isn’t suddenly sure whether his biggest problem right now is the police or the corrupted justice system at all.

“Hello, I’m Kim Seokjin from the BH test kitchen and today we’re gonna try making gourmet…”. Behind him a few pans scatter to the ground and a loud “sorry” echoes around the somewhat empty kitchen. Seokjin rolls his eyes. He doesn’t even have to turn around to know it was Namjoon. How the god of destruction himself managed to come out of culinary school alive and became arguably one of the best chefs in Seoul is beyond anyone. Seokjin doesn’t necessarily dislike Namjoon, he just doesn’t care for his chaotic nature. He already has to share the test kitchen with him, he can’t imagine actually cooking with the guy. So of course they make him. Goddamn it, Kim Taehyung!

It wasn’t a big revelation. It was sudden, but somehow it didn’t feel unexpected. Nothing really changed in that moment. Namjoon simply realised what he’d already been feeling for a while, possibly all along. Being in love with Seokjin wasn’t a hardship, it was never something he’d ever had to think about before. It had just been there, dormant, just waiting to rise to the surface at just the right moment.
Alternatively, Namjoon has been in love with Seokjin for the longest time, and never expected anything to come from it.

“What’s true?” Jungkook and Seokjin stand in the doorway, Jungkook with a curious look on his face.
“Namjoonie-hyung is seeing someone,” Jimin replies excitedly and Jungkook’s eyes go wide.
“Really? It must be that girl from the award show!” Jungkook exclaims and Jimin lifts his hand for a high five which Jungkook instantly gives. They’re such good detectives. Jimin gives himself a mental pat on the back. Case solved.
