“Nothing. I was just distracted, going over the day”, you chuckle nervously at the end, and he sighs.
For a moment or two, he feels like he is at base again and Soap and Gaz are trying to stupidly lie to his face after pulling a prank that definitely got out of proportions.
“Luv”, he says, firmer this time. “You are a bad liar”.
You blink at him again, while he moves one of his hands to your neck. He then uses his thumb to rub your jaw.
It takes you around ten seconds to give up.
