   Summary

Moth grapples with their complicated feelings about Interloper's psychological connection to having an intraspinal cybernetic implant when a mindspike malfunction forces them to confront their desire for their friend—and fear of losing them to all the things having a mindspike can invite. Interloper is determined to go after what they want, and sometimes that involves a psychosexual urge to fuck around and find out.
