Sometimes Namjoon will catch a glance of the scars circling around their youngest's wrists, and his heart clenches.
Sometimes he'll hold him for an extra few moments than normal, cherishing the feeling of jungkook safe and protected in his arms.
Sometimes he'll wake up in the middle of the night and find himself walking towards Jungkook's room, to ease his mind that he's safe and sound-right where he should be.
Sometimes, when something has happened that made the group fall into a fit of laughter, he'll gaze upon the maknae's smiling face and joy in his deep brown eyes. Just to remind himself that he's ok now, that Jungkook’s spirit couldn’t be broken that easily.
