Summary
Jaemin and Jeno haven't seen each other for 2 years.
When Jeno arrives in Japan to celebrate Christmas and ring in the New Year with his group of best friends, he doesn't expect it to turn out this way.
All of their friends can’t make it to Japan on time, so it's just two of them. Jeno and Jaemin. Two best friends who have known each other for half of their lives but barely been in contact for the last two years.
Jeno is not sure if he can survive the whole week one by one with Jaemin, day by day preparing for the upcoming Christmas, spending every moment together. Not when it's all cozy, Jaemin looking at him with these eyes warmer than hot chocolate, smile sweeter than Christmas cookies, touch gentler than snowflakes falling on his skin.
All of it burning up the old feelings that have been laying beneath the thick cover of snow that is now slowly melting as if spring is coming earlier this time, to be on time for Christmas.

Summary
They both freeze. Jeno’s eyes draw up from the table to stare wordlessly at Jaemin, who just as wordlessly stares back. Then with a lick of his lips, Jaemin attempts to correct himself:
“I don’t mind the waist.”
The same verbal error comes out. This time, however, Jaemin's eyes drop down. Following the lines of Jeno’s apron and trail of his words, down his chest—
“The waist. Waist. No. No. Your waist. I mean. …fuck.”
Closing his eyes, Jeno sighs. He could stomach scaling buildings and jumping off roofs, breaking into places undetected and retrieving stolen data. But this? Trying to remain calm in the face of a gorgeous guy who likes him so much that it causes him to verbally malfunction? This is his hardest mission yet.
In which Jeno is a barista struggling with awkward flirting from a handsome patron by day and an intelligence agent struggling with an equally awkward crush on his enemy by night.

That's how Jaemin finds him twenty minutes later in the sidewalk, sobbing and shivering and in absolute shambles. Donghyuck doesn't look up, but he knows nobody else in their right mind would come sit next to him on this dirty sidewalk at ass'o clock.
