Summary
Viktor sat in the aqueduct where he usually came to think, came to be by himself. Few knew of this, such as Heimerdinger and Jayce. He sat, legs hanging off the small ledge as gears turned behind him and his cane stood against a wall.
Sky's items were beside him. Her journal that he'd read, full of her genius idea. Her glasses, too, golden frames, with one lens broken now. And herself, in a can beside the journal and glasses. He spoke quietly into the air, thinking of Sky. The woman he'd accidentally killed due to his greed to be perfect and her compassion for him.
"I'm sorry. I don't know where you'd preferred." He sat, his face sorrowful as he picked up the can of her ashes.
He unscrewed the lid, wishing that it would've been him who turned to ash instead of her. Before he could let the self-guilt bite more, he let the ashes fall into the river beneath him as he repeated himself, voice crooked. "I'm sorry."
