Summary
Does reincarnation guarantee a clear path ahead blooming with redemption, or a second chance to carve one's own path out of the filth and dirt with bloodied fingers?
Again, Wanderer finds himself akin to those lost, freshly severed from the strings of an imaginary puppeteer once more. Perhaps free will was most loving – most serene, but the strings made him carry out a meaningful journey. Something to focus on. Something that gave him a purposeful identity, though malicious.
A puppet without strings is no different than a believer without a saviour. What god must Wanderer turn to – to relieve him of damned suffering?
Wanderer, soon renamed as Ren, finds himself in a hollow pit in which his trauma will return to him like a slap in the face. As The Balladeer, he didn't have to dwell so much on the grief he suffered – for he had power and something to his name. Now, with mostly academic goals to carve his new path, his regrets become more apparent and everything comes crashing down. So much for the beginning to his healing journey.
Not to fret – although the mountain is tall and narrow, it's terrain becomes easier to climb. Along with the help of a gentle soul to accompany him.
