He needed this, he really did. He needed to relax, and unwind, and just not fucking think for two seconds. In an ideal world, any old hookup would do, but alas. Unfortunately in Chuuya’s case, there was only one person who could help him, and that person just so happened to be the most infuriating man in all of Yokohama, maybe even the world.

After a long day (week, month, life), Chuuya calls Dazai over for one of their usual rough, no strings attached hookups hoping to get some relief. Unfortunately, things quickly go wrong and Chuuya ends up feeling worse instead of better.

Summary
Chuuya’s hands are gentle as they carefully unwind the bandage covering Dazai’s eye until it falls away. For a moment, he just looks at him, his pupils dilating as he takes in both of Dazai’s brown eyes.
The way Chuuya looks at Dazai is so different from the way everyone else does. There’s so much emotion swirling in his eyes that Dazai doesn’t think he could dissect it without his head exploding.
So he leans in and kisses him, hard.

Chuuya tries to send a suggestive image to a fling when Dazai texts him at the same time and he unknowingly sends it to him instead.She had texted him, but said “Okay then, fuck you too” and when he frantically types apologies, his texts won’t deliver. He’d been blocked. Immediately, it’s a blow to his ego. Did she really not like the picture that much? Except, when he looks up at their previous messages, he hadn’t sent it at all. Anxiety blooms in his stomach. He clicks out of the messages. His only other recent thread is with Dazai.
“That’s sexy, but not at all the response I was anticipating” Dazai had texted him. Chuuya’s stomach sinks. It’s quickly followed with “Not that I’m complaining”.

“Perhaps,” the man says, as he’s already fetching the cartoon of cigarettes out of his pocket, “or maybe, I'm hoping you wouldn't steal it.”
