In the end, he made his decision with a certain amount of satisfaction – if Wei Ying needed to be family in order to safely traverse the cave, then family he would be. Obviously, it wasn’t a traditional ceremony, but Wei Ying had seemed enthusiastic to be bound to him regardless, and Lan Zhan found himself pleased. After all, he had found an equal in his new husband.Or: Lan Zhan married Wei Wuxian by wrapping his ribbon around his wrist. It’s just a shame he never thought to actually tell him that.
