“You should date me,” Hansol says one afternoon, while they’re both free from their corporate jobs and after visiting Taco Bell for a lunch break. Seungkwan visibly jolts back at the words, jaw wide open as he repeats Hansol’s voice in his head.

His Americano nearly drops from his palm without the help of Hansol’s hands to fix it back in place. You should date me. Seungkwan pinkens at the thought again, mouth moving between a thin line and gaping at Hansol’s steady words. He’s not young enough for dates to be a foreign concept, but Hansol and Seungkwan haven’t really passed that line of friendship. Or something like that.
A huff of air releases from his lips. “Huh?”
OR: Hansol, forced to volunteer an extra 30 hours for his son’s parent association, uses it as an excuse to date his best friend Seungkwan.
