He isn’t sure if that’s the word he’d assign to the other. Katsuki is like a glowing firecracker: bright, breathtaking, and quick to snap. Although, Izuku considers, he can be cute sometimes. Like every morning, when he tosses Izuku’s bento box into his face. Like when he rolls over into Izuku’s space on the bed and knees him in the stomach. Like how the space between his brows gets wrinkled whenever he gets absorbed into one of Izuku’s “shitty chick flicks,” creasing further in defiance when he’s caught.
(or: post-graduation, izuku struggles to cope with change. a reencounter, a roommate arrangement, and things become a bit more complicated—as always with bakugou katsuki involved)

They’re still recovering from the war, neatly kept in the same hospital room, and all Katsuki can think about is the fact that Izuku shouldn’t be so out of reach.

Summary
The alien captor in charge painted down the final details of his costume make up nonetheless and combed through his hair methodically. It reminded him the way he used to fantasize about Mizi, reminding him how he wished she'd comb through his hair back then at Anakt Garden.
Ivan took to the task instead. Till would rest in the synthetically soft grass while the gentle pads of Ivan's fingers would stroke his unruly locks and taming it down with his phantom like, yet soothingly cold touch.

“Wriothesley,” Neuvilette breathed. Gone was that glacial, serene tone. This was one of evident concern, of autumn leaves falling into that calm, still river. “… It is midnight.”
… Oh, right.
Neuvilette was quite terrible at sarcasm.
In other words, Wriothesley gets injured, and wakes to Neuvilette by his sickbed.
And they’re both pining idiots.
