    They woke up there all of a sudden; stranded far, far away from their homeland with no idea of how to get home. Their fate wasn’t meant to become entwined with that world beneath a different skyful of stars. Yet the strings of fate are fickle things, and Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura find themselves getting irreversibly caught up in the mysteries of that world.

    Yet mysteries don’t always have happy endings, and the forces of that world are strange to three starless shadows who were never meant to be a part of the song.

    In one world, Harry is raised by a family who despises him, finds out the reason he's so despised (hint: you're a wizard, Harry), is shipped off to Hogwarts like a belated get-well card, makes a few lifelong friends, is regularly thrown into dangerous situations in the name of prophecy, is later dragged into a war previous generations foisted upon their children, and finally (finally) after years of being groomed, of being molded into a savior, defeats the boogeyman of the Wizarding World.

    This is not that world. Well, not completely—but while some things stay the same, others do not.

    (Or: the one in which our favorite wizard pulls the impossible card and hops universes like a defective portkey doused in firewhiskey. And wow, would you look at that? Magic really is the biggest cheat sheet of all.


    In other words, Harry joins the Straw Hat Pirates.)
