If she had come out of grad school with anything, it was an affinity for intensive study. Shepard was as deserving a subject as anything she’d ever bothered with in a classroom.
Most intimately, though, she knew her mind, her soul. The time they’d spent in the meld together had laid her bare- and Liara, who had perhaps not considered herself a romantic before, found her radiant.
